圣母子

这幅保存良好的绘画作品与雷曼收藏的《圣安沙诺》和《圣安德鲁》（也在大都会博物馆）同属一幅五联板祭坛画，当初由锡耶纳市政府委托制作。这幅祭坛画是为锡耶纳地方长官的官邸而作，以六个月为一个租期，定期重新安置。这幅祭坛画的设计比较特别，其绘有《圣母子》的中央饰板与两侧的饰板一样大，容易折叠，方便在不同宅第之间迁移。西莫内的五块木板画后来都被并入一幅更大的祭坛画中，放在锡耶纳市政厅（Palazzo Pubblico）的礼拜堂里。
