纳尔瓦
达达艺术运动于1916年在苏黎世诞生。其特点是将现成品运用到作品中，以使艺术与生活之间的界限变得模糊，达达主义作品颂扬混乱，或者至少指向潜藏在文明外表之下的混乱无序。1950年代，由于受到马塞尔·杜尚的影响，尚·丁格利等年轻艺术家扩展了达达运动，创作出引发争议、嘈杂刺耳又引人注目的艺术品。丁格利在事业刚进入繁荣期时创作了《纳尔瓦》。这件作品是现代生活中各种物品的集合，以其不可思议的复杂让人发笑，好像一只巨大的散了架的时钟。
