    Inscription: At lower right in graphite: 'franceschini de Bologne' and '3' (two distinct 19th and 20th century handwritings).

    On the mount at the upper left in pen and brown ink '2310' (18th or 19th century handwriting); 'Franceschini da Bologna' in graphite (19th century handwriting).

    Verso: along the upper edge, 'Henri II de France - recoit [?] la courounne de Pologne|di Franceschini da Bologna Scolari di Cignani' in graphite (19th or 20th century handwriting); at the upper left '12' in graphite (20th century handwriting); at lower left 'Franceschini (Marc-Antoine)|1648-1729. Bologne' in graphite (20th century handwriting); below, '93' in graphite (20th century handwriting); below 'no. 6' in pen and brown ink (18th or 19th century handwriting); below '186' and '4/6' in graphite (20th century handwriting); along the lower edge, a sketch of a drawing mount and 'ouverture par le noir [?] (dans reste teinte Bristol grec' in graphite (19th or 20th century handwriting).
