Lounging pajamas

French

Not on view

This pair of pajamas is an example of couture at home wear, bearing a couture house number. The construction is highly inventive, especially the pants for they employ spiral seaming. Originally, the legs were full at the bottom and were altered to taper towards the ankle at a later date.
