Signature: In the middle of right side of picture is the painter's signature "Yizhai" with two seals.

Inscription: Inscription on lower left side: Poem by Jiang Wuyang:
"Lotus leaves float on the water and look so pure.
Hibiscus flowers smile in autumn riverside evening.
Spirits directly enter the residence of Zhao (Zhao Mengfu)"

Inscription on upper left: "Composition of the pictures by Zhao Zigu (Zhao Mengjian) are highly interesting and the harmony of colors is admirable. I have no doubt of the genuineness of this picture. I write here again about its beauty." Jiang Wuyang
