Tell el-Yahudiya juglet
Middle Kingdom
The name of this type of pottery is derived from the site in the southeastern Delta where W. M. Flinders Petrie first found examples. The ware was most likely initially produced in the Levant. Widely imitated, it was distributed throughout the eastern Mediterranean, Egypt, and into Nubia.
