This statuette was influenced by stone sculptures representing Kings Senwosret III and Amenemhat III and featured similar gestures of the arms and hands. The ink inscription on the skirt of this piece is only partly readable: "A royal offering of Ptah-Sokar… [a name ending with]-nakht, justified, possessor of honor."
