Study for Inspector's Scrutiny
This study for one of Nodjoumi’s recent satirical oil paintings is a commentary on the absurdity of global politics. The artist juxtaposes past and present by creating a space in which two warriors, possibly from an illustrated Shahnama manuscript, are shown as "ghostly" observers and judges of a ludicrous current event.
