Plate with an illustration of a women's "Parisian Costume", part of the 39th issue of the "Journal des dames et des modes", published on June 20, 1913. The illustration shows a woman wearing a gray outfit consisting of matching taffeta jacket and narrow dress with a "Hobble" type of skirt, a gray satin vest with three red enamel buttons, and with white-and-pink linen neck and cuffs, a matching, gray hat decorated with a black ribbon and two bundles of small, pink flowers, and gray socks and shoes with small ribbon bows. She wears a yellow glove on one hand, and holds the other on her other bare hand, showcasing a green ring on her pinky finger and red polish on her nails. Her hair is red and her face is heavily made up with gray eyeshadows, pink blush on her cheeks, and red lipstick. She stands on a green pasture in front of a river and under a tree with long, thin hanging branches of small, green leaves.
