This design features a Japanese motif of an anemone flower. A dramatic romantic image, a single poppy raises its petals, silhouetted by a generously gold stamped moon. During this period, Armstrong modified her typography including a new capital R, with an elegant, sweeping tail as seen here in the title lettering. This is one of her last cover designs as she rather focused on her drawing and writing.
