Millionaire Households represents a combination of popular design motifs of the period including peacocks–emerging from the British Aesthetic movement of the 1870s–and graceful Art Nouveau patterns including decorative leaves, grape vines and whiplash lines. In this design, Armstrong utilized symmetrical elements and multi-tonal stamping. She later revised this design for Twenty Centuries of Paris (1913).
