Trade cards from the series Ancient Mythology Burlesqued (N256), issued in 1893 by P. Lorillard Company. 26 numbered cards. Cards show mythological female with butterfly wings. Brand name of 5 Cent Ante or Tiger appears in box on card. Back includes card number, name of figure depicted and her background story, "butterfly wings naturalists' name", company and brand names and the card's lithographer. Note: several cards are known to have the wrong printing on back.
