The items in Tutankhamun’s tomb include objects made specifically for burial as well as many personal belongings, such as tools and weapons. Along with elaborately decorated and gilded weapons for ceremonial purposes, Tutankhamun was buried with many unpretentious items, for example the slingshots here.
