This rare Czech publication was financed by the Union of Liberated Political Prisoners, who compiled the narratives of nine Holocaust survivors and their experiences in concentration camps, including Buchenwald, Dachau, Flossenberg, Mauthausen, and Terezin. Translated as Memories from Concentration Camps, each chapter focuses on a different camp, and the book is Illustrated throughout with full-page reproductions of illustrations by Stanislav Geisler (1908–1984).
