Glass miniature one-handled bottle
Not on view
Colorless; handle in same glass.
Slightly uneven rim folded out, down, and round, with flattened top surface; cylindrical neck, tooled in around base; sloping shoulder; ovoid body, tapering to solid, drawn-out knob base; fine rod handle applied as a pad to shoulder, drawn up vertically, then turned in and pressed onto neck with upward trail, pinched off along top of handle.
Intact; some pinprick bubbles; dulling, slight pitting, and creamy yellow iridescent weathering.
The shape of the bottle echoes that of a Greek amphora, and it is possible that it originally had two handles.
