Woven under the direction of Rigobert Milice
Manufactory Beauvais

This piece is an example of the finest tapestry weaving incorporating wool and silk. The wool and silk threads used for the weft were similarly spun and plied to attain equal thickness and consistency. The wool warp is coarser and the fibers appear longer than the weft.
