Unger Brothers

Not on view

Unger Brothers manufactured jewelry and other small silver items in a quintessential Art Nouveau style. The curvilinear lines on both the brooch and the vest chain—for instance the women’s flowing hair—emulate contemporary French designs. Individual elements of these pieces were created by stamping machines, which formed the shape and ornament in one efficient process. The trade catalogue illustration features silver jewelry items manufactured by the firm.
