Ce petit sphinx en faïence d’un bleu vif a été gravé du nom d’Amenhotep III et présente les traits stylisés communs à de nombreuses représentations de ce souverain. Cette variante aux mains humaines portant des récipients à offrandes existait déjà au temps de l’Ancien Empire, et nombre de représentations du Nouvel Empire illustrent un roi offrant une petite figurine qui, à son tour, tend une offrande.
