화려한 청색 파이앙스 도기로 제작한 이 소형스핑크스는 아멘호테프 3세 이름이 새겨져 있으며, 이 통치자의 많은 상에 나타나는특징적인 양식화된 표정을 보여줍니다. 앞발이 봉헌물용 그릇을 쥐고 있는 사람의 손 형상을 하고 있는 변형된 스핑크스는 일찍이 고왕국 시대에 존재했으며, 신왕국 시대에는 봉헌물을 바치는 자세로 묘사된 자그마한 상을 바치는 왕이 수없이 많이 표현되었습니다.
