这尊亮蓝色彩釉陶质的小型狮身人面像上刻有阿蒙霍特普三世国王的名字,并且表现出因造像颇多而为人熟悉的这位统治者的面部特征风格。狮身人面像以人手托住献祭器皿这种变化形式早在古王国时期就已出现;许多新王国时期的造像表现出一位国王献上某种小型人像,而这人像也相应呈现出献祭的姿势。
