Bottle with Applied Decoration on the Neck
This gracious bottle was executed using the technique of blowing glass in a mold, widely exploited in the regions of the eastern Mediterranean since the first century B.C. The thin spiral that embellishes its tapered neck adds another ornamental detail to the decorative effect of its fluted body.
