투탕카멘을 나타내는 두상 뒤편에 아문 신의손이 보존되어 남아 있습니다. 이는 제작 당시의 완전한 조각 군상에는 파라오의 작은 입상 뒤로 신의 좌상을 묘사했음을 보여줍니다. 투탕카멘 재위 전 빛의 신 아텐을 유일신으로 섬겼던 아케나텐의 통치 시 이집트는 종교적인 격변을 겪었습니다. 투탕카멘은 전통적인 다신교 숭배와 더불어 이 조각상이 표현하듯 아문신 지상주의를 복원하였습니다.
