花龙纹挂毯

这件丝织挂毯上的装饰属典型的中亚风格，中亚作品里的图案设计历史悠久、变化无穷。这条龙的长鼻和压在后腿之下的龙尾表现出一种唐代的艺术手法，这种手法后来在中亚保存下来，起码继续流传到了蒙古征服者忽必烈于1271年创建的元朝。在花朵图案中饰有龙纹，这很可能是中亚地区创造的一种艺术手法。明亮的色彩和龙的活力也都是这一地区所产挂毯的特色，其制作者可能是维吾尔人，他们因出色的织锦服饰而闻名。
