黄庭坚（中国，1045–1105年）廉颇蔺相如传
诗人、书法家、禅宗居士黄庭坚相信，书法应是随性的自我表达，曰：“欲得妙于笔，当得妙于心”。此卷约有一千二百字，是草书中的杰作。文字抄录了著名将军廉颇和谋略家蔺相如之间一段机锋交辩的故事。黄庭坚的抄写唐突地停在蔺相如的这句话后：“今两虎共斗，其势不俱生，吾所以为此者，以先国家之急而后私仇也。”在宋朝官场暗斗的背景下加以解读，不难看出这是黄庭坚对党派争斗的强烈指控；正是这种争斗使他自己在1094年被贬。
