Bottle

Not on view

The shape and decoration of this bottle are drawn from the Roman traditions of glass blowing. The festooned pattern was created with an applied trail reworked with a pointed tool or a pincer. This type of decoration was used from about the fourth to the eighth century in the Syrian area.
