Dish with Pattern of Flowering Plants

On view at The Met Fifth Avenue in Gallery 460

The dish has a flattened base, a flat, scalloped rim, and stands on a foot ring. It is decorated with an over-all pattern of tulips arranged in staggered rows. Between these flowers there are çintamani or triple dot motifs. Spiral-like motifs have been painted on the rim.
