Relief, tomb of Khety: sacred objects to be used at the funeral - see 26.3.354-7
These twelve joined fragments are part of a larger scene showing items of funerary equipment set out on tables. Visible here are several bows, depicted as if they have been balanced on one tip rather than laid on top of the table, as they would have been in actuality. This is due to the desire of the Egyptian artist to provide as much information as possible, rather than reflect the visual reality.
