Design for Textile with a Bundle of Stylized Flowers and Leaves and Interlacing Ribbons
Drawing with design for textile with a large bundle of green branches with stylized leaves and large stylized flowers and flower buds, with pink, yellow and orange petals. One of the branches of the bundle, thinner than the others and containing small pink stylized flowers scrolls around a garland of interlacing ribbons colored with pink, orange and yellow, which forms a concave curve in above the bundle of flowers and leaves. This type of colorful floral motifs was typical of textile designs during the late 18th century in France and Europe, borrowing inspiration from the Orient and from Indian printed cotton textile designs.
