Returned to lender
This work of art was on loan to the museum and has since been returned to its lender.
This print presents an aerial view of the pier of an industrialized port. Beneath a network of iron pipes, people head to work in the early morning. The severe geometry of the design and abstract patterning of the seagulls’ wings give the composition a fascinating modernist edge.
