磔刑像
この磔刑像に表されたキリストは、12世紀の典型的な様式、すなわち目を開け、王冠を被り、死を克服している姿で表されています。髭と肋骨、そして腰巻のひだなどがくっきりと彫られており、塗料と金箔の装飾もほとんどかつてのまま残っています。裏面の中心部分には神の子羊(キリストの象徴)の図像、端部は4人の伝道者の記号が施されていることから、この十字架は表裏両面を見るように作られたと考えられます。この作品の元の所在地についてはさまざまな説があり、パレンシア近郊アストゥディージョのサンタクララ修道院にあったとされていますが、定かではありません。
