This poster was listed for sale at 15 cents on the rear of the pamphlet, 'The Reign of the Poster', by Charles Knowles Bolton (Boston 1895). It was also used as the cover of the book it advertises, 'The Lady and Her Tree: A Story of Society', by Charles Stokes Wayne (Philadelphia, Vortex Co., 1895), see: Morse 1969, p. 358.
