Bracelet with Holy Figures
This popular bracelet type often included an invocation for the protection of the wearer. Here eight medallions show angels and holy figures who stand in the orant (prayer) pose or carry crosses and censers. One medallion may show the angel Gabriel appearing to the Virgin (the Annunciation).
