Illustration of a woman weating purple night gown, part of the 47th issue of the "Journal des dames et des modes", published in Paris on September 10, 1913. The woman's gown consists of an Orientalist, purple dress with off-the-shoulder sleeves and a narrow skirt, in two shades of purple, and a red fabric rolled around her waist in the style of a kimono, tied with a bow to her back, and with a hanging ribbon with brocaded flowers, executed with two shades of purple that match her dress, and with red lining. She carries a golden thurible in her hands, and wears matching golden shoes, decorated with small, white ribbon bows. Her hair is tied back with a purple headband, a thin, long feather hanging from it.
