Illustration with a design for a blue twill dress with plaid flounces, part of the 68th issue of the "Journal des dames et des modes", published in Paris on April 10, 1914. The illustration features a woman wearing a blue serge dress made up of a white, button-down shirt and a narrow, ankle-length blue skirt, decorated around the hips with a flounce made with a black, yellow and red plaid fabric. Over the shirt, she wears a long-sleeved jacket of the same color as the skirt, paired with white gloves. Her hair is covered with a long, pointy hat featuring the same plaid pattern as the flounce of the dress. She wears a long necklace made with emeralds and diamonds, with a larger emerald pendant, and black high heels, decorated with small red and white baguettes.
