Illustration with a design for a Garden Party gown, part of the 70th issue of the "Journal des dames et des modes", published in Paris on May 1st, 1914. The illustration features a woman wearing a pleated, white dress with several lagers, bordered with orange fabric and with an orange belt around her waist and hips. The dress is tied around her bust with a small, orange rose, and she holds two additional orange roses in her hand, close to her face, smelling them. She wears black high heels with crossing straps, and stands on a garden under the shade of a tree.
