Not on view

The queen gallops on horseback in Windsor Park, dressed in a plumed hat, and a velvet riding habit adorned with a sash and the Garter Star. She holds a whip in her left hand and Windsor Castle is glimpsed in the distance between the horse's legs. The engraving, published in 1849, reproduces a painting (Government Art Collection) that shows Victoria soon after she acceded to the throne in 1837.
