Volume I, no. 1 to Vol. XXV, no. 26, in 37 bound volumes. This satirical illustrated weekly periodical was established in Munich in 1896 by Albert Langen and Thomas Theodor Heine. It ran initially from 1896 to 1944 and publication was suspended 1944 to 1954, after which point it was revived and published until 1967. Includes lithographic illustrations by Heine, J. B. Engl, Ferdinand von Reznicek, and others.
