Ornamental frieze with a large bird with out-stretched wings at center, surrounded by scrolling tendrils. The bird holds the end of a tendril in its long, straight beak. From a series of six plates with horizontally hatched backgrounds. According to Berliner, the backgrounds of the plates in this series were further darkened at a later date.
