Sixth plate of album with 20 pochoir pattern plates, titled "Samarkande: 20 Compositions en couleurs dans le Style oriental" (Samarkand: 20 Color Compositions in the Oriental Style), created by E. A. Séguy and published in Paris by Charles Massin around 1914, presenting an ornamental design, probably for textiles or wallpapers, with semi-abstract flower motifs, inspired on the Oriental styles created by the artists of Samarkand. The design is made up of thin, interlacing branches with thin, long, scrolling leaves, colored with black and brown, the leaves also with white, intermittent lines running down their centers, thinner, interlacing branches with smaller, scrolling leaves, colored with white, semi-abstract, Orientalist flowers, colored with dark red, brown, white, and with small, black spots in the center, and large, abstract clouds (?), colored with white and outlined with brown, framed by a strip of small, white dots, on a sand-colored ground.
