Engraving, part of a set of six rectangular prints with white backgrounds, representing different types of hunting scenes. In the print, two hares are running on the left, trying to escape from the dogs that follow them, one of them jumping on top of his prey, followed by a group of huntsmen: one blowing a horn, and two others running towards the hares with spears in their hands. Two other hunters, on the right, walk more slowly towards the center of the scene, one of them carrying a hare on his back. The depiction of one of the hares in this engraving is almost identical to a hare in a print by Virgil Solis of the same subject.
