This engraving represents four men from Turkey and the Ottoman empire. On the left, a man of high rank wears a short-sleeved overcoat with braided fastenings and embellishments on the border of the sleeves, open on the front to reveal a long-sleeved, ankle-length robe with a pattern of rosettes and lozenges. He wears a turban with several feathers, and low-heeled boots. He carries a staff on his left hand.

A Turkish 'Cadilesguer', on the center-left, wears a long robe with a brocaded (?) pattern of scrolling motifs, with long puff sleeves and a fabric belt tied around the waist, under a short-sleeved, fur-lined overcoat. His beard and moustache are long, and he wears a rounded turban on his head. The tips of his pointed-toe shoes are seen peeking from under his robe. He holds a small paper scroll in his right hand.

A Grand Duke, on the center-right, wears a short-sleeved overcoat with a (possibly embroidered) pattern of lozenges and pearls, with braid trimmings on the sleeves, over a long robe with a brocaded pattern of scrolling motifs, bordered with a pattern of lozenges with dots, between strips of pearls. He wears thin belt around his waist, and a large turban with feathers and jeweled accessories on his head.

A Turkish Emperor, on the right, wears a fur-lined overcoat over a velvet (?) robe with long puff sleeves and jeweled buttons, and a thin jeweled belt around the waist. He wears a rounded turban on his head, and his pointed-toe shoes peek at the bottom of his robe.
