오각형의 스피넷
우르비노의 공작부인 엘레나 델라 로베르를 위해 만들어진 이 스피넷은 모자이크 상감, 페인팅, 조각, 인스타르시아 등으로 화려하게 장식되어 있습니다. 신화의 형상이 키보드 브래켓에 장식되어 있고 독일 장인의 작품이라 추정되는 돌고래가 키보드 측면에 새겨져 있습니다. 대칭으로 된 무늬가 키보드 전체에 장식되어 있으며 울림구멍은 섬세한 고딕 스타일로 디자인되어 있습니다. 키보드 위에는 “나는 금과 음색으로 가득하며 만약 아름다움이 부족하다면 나를 혼자 두어라.”로 번역되는 좌우명이 새겨져 있습니다. 연주 가능한 키보드 중 가장 오래된 이 스피넷은 까마귀 깃펜을 사용해 브라스 스트링을 당겨 류트와 비슷한 음색을 만들어냅니다.
