덴두르 신전
덴두르 신전은 이집트 정부가 미국 정부의누비아 유적 보호 지원에 대한 감사의 표시로 기증하였습니다. 이 신전은 해체되지 않았더라면 아스완 하이 댐 건설로 인해 나일강에 수몰되었을 것입니다. 덴두르 신전은 이집트의 다른 거대한 신전에 비하면 소형이지만 대문, 전실(포티코), 공물실, 성소 등 신전의 필수적인 구성 요소를 모두 갖추고 있습니다. 기둥머리에는 식물 문양이 장식되어 있고 벽의 부조는 신들에게 공물을 바치는 파라오를 보여줍니다. 오른쪽에 묘사된 아우구스투스 로마 황제가 프넙스의 토트 신에게 술을 바치고 있습니다.
