Costume print, whole-length figure of a standing Virginian woman directed slightly to left, arms folded, naked to the waist and with bare lower legs and feet, skirt, beads around her neck and forehead, tattoos or other markings in bands around her upper arms and lower legs; after illustration by Theodor de Bry in Thomas Harriot's "Briefe... report of... Virginia," (Frankfurt, 1590).
