Portrait of a young woman with coiled plaited pinned-up hair in a net seated half-length to right, with head tilted to right, looking towards the viewer; her arms crossed on a ledge, holding a thistle and two other small plant-stems; wearing a headdress and low-cut bodice; coat of arms of the Fürleger family hanging from a nail at upper left, piece of paper above lettered with 'Also bin ich gestalt / in achcehe Jor altt. / 1497'; Dürer's statue on a column on the side of the window behind, holding an open book lettered with Dürer'smonogram; fortified town seen through the window; after Dürer.
