This plate has no number. Presumably the number "8" was trimmed from top edge so that plates 8 and 9 could be joined.
Plate 8 (?) to series of etchings of Cortona's fresco and its stucco framework in the Gallery of Aeneas, Palazzo Pamphili, Rome. Cesi was commissioned to draw and etch the decorations of the Gallery by Prince Camillo Pamphili, who paid him on January 29, 1661.
