Dancing Figure

After Carlo Maratti Italian
Not on view
Drawing with a female dancing figure wearing a classical, draped robe, her arms and legs uncovered. Her head, turned three quarters to her right, is crowned with a wreath of roses and leaves; her curly hair flows behind her. She appears in motion: her weight rests on the left leg, in front, while the right leg is about to leave the ground; her arms float to her left.
