Horizontal panel with a design for a semi-circular triumphal arch with three passageways, with pairs of attached columns flanking each opening. Above the central opening is a pedestal decorated with a crowned coat of arm and flanked by armorial trophies. On the pedestal, an equestrian statue. Two statues are seen on the ends of the arch, with Hercules at left and Minerva at right. Plate 3 from a group of five prints belonging to a series of six plates with designs for triumphal arches and city gates. With the exception of the title plate, all of the prints in the first series are numbered in the upper right corner.
