This print is bound in Volume I of Oeuvres. Jombert published his collection of Le Pautre in 1751. Volume I contains "desseins... pour la décoration des maisons, etouches, edifices;." This print is part of a series of six plates depicting fireplaces in the French style. The series was published by Saint-Martin, by Jean II Leblond, by Mierre Mariette, and the three first plates were republished by Jombert in 1751. The first three plates are bound in this album.
