Series of Small Flower Motifs, Plate 1

Artist and engraver Paul Androuet Ducerceau French
Publisher Nicolas Langlois French

Not on view

Plate 1 from an untitled series of six plates with designs of flower motifs, possibly meant for silk embroidery. This plate presents four fantastical flower motifs, printed from 2 small vertical plates. The flower motifs are reminiscent of the flowers described elsewhere as 'a la persienne' (in the Persian manner).
